About this Course

This three-evening beginner workshop introduces participants to acrylic paints and mediums through the creation of an impressionistic landscape, waterscape or poppy painting. Students explore acrylics, learn to build textured surfaces, practice core colour-mixing skills, and develop colourful layered backgrounds. The final session focuses on adding detail, depth, and expressive marks to create an expressive finished painting. No experience required, guidance provided; materials not included.
