About this Course

In this four week class, students will experiment with gel plates and acrylic paint to discover the creative possibilities of monoprinting. You’ll try out approaches like layering shapes, masking, transferring images, and painting directly onto the plate to produce prints full of texture and depth. Along the way, you’ll explore colour, composition, and surface design to make vibrant, one-of-a-kind works. This course is perfect for anyone curious about accessible printmaking methods that can easily be continued at home. No previous printmaking experience is needed. Some materials provided.
